Ms. Olive Lopez went deaf in both ears following renal transplant. She is the recepient of a cochlear implant at the Holy Family Hospital. These photographs were taken on the day the cochlear implant was switched on and she could hear for the very first time since she went deaf. Olive and her husband met Sr. Lucien, Executive Director, to express their happiness. Olive and Jonathan her husband are also shown with senior audiologist Sneha Satam and Medel Company and Cochlear implant Executive Swati Bhatt giving us the thumbs up sign that Olive can now hear for the first time since she went deaf.
